Kris is a seasoned Wealth Advisor with nearly two decades of financial industry experience. He spent the first 14 years of his career as a private client advisor with J.P. Morgan before founding his independent practice, Maven Bridge Capital, in early 2021. In February of 2024, Kris joined forces with Evoke Wealth Management, bringing extensive knowledge and diverse expertise to the team.
Kris currently holds designations as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional (CFP®), a Certified Private Wealth Advisor Professional (CPWA®), and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA).
Kris focuses on working with Widowed and Divorced Women and Family-Owned Small Businesses. In providing a “human-first experience” for his clients, Kris recognizes that they are the experts of their lives, and his role is to serve as their collaborative thinking partner. To help bring his client's goals to life, his work embodies “client-inspired advice” centered on empowering them with control, motivation, and confidence over their wealth.
His passion for meticulous planning stems from a personal experience when his father, a small business owner, suffered a life-threatening stroke. Without proper estate or business contingency plans in place prior to the stroke, Kris witnessed the financial and emotional impact this change had on his family. This life experience fuels Kris in his commitment to assist clients in making difficult decisions when life disrupts their plans.
In his free time, Kris wears the hat of a "Doodle Dad." He enjoys traveling with his wife and indulges in his love for movies, food, and a good glass of Scotch. He loves taking on challenges that test his mindset and capabilities. He once completed an arduous 13.5-mile Tough-Mudder challenge while suffering a knee injury early in the race. Despite the excruciating pain and physical demand, he was determined to complete the race no matter what. He takes that same mindset and determination into his work as he is committed to guiding his clients toward living fulfilling lives and helping to protect their legacy.
